Warm Butter Beans with Rosemary and Garlic
Warm beans with fragrant rosemary, garlic and a little chilli.
- 400 g canned butter beans, drained
- 1 clove garlic, sliced
- 2 sprig rosemary
- 1 pinch chilli flakes, optional
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Pour the olive oil into a wide frying pan set over a medium flame. Add the sliced garlic, rosemary sprigs and, if you like some heat, the chilli flakes.
- As soon as the garlic smells fragrant, tip in the drained butter beans. Keep them moving for 4–5 minutes until they are warmed right through and catching a little colour at the edges.
- Taste, add salt and pepper, and bring the pan to the table while the beans are still warm.
