Ricotta Tartlets with Figs and Honey
Little ricotta tartlets topped with fresh figs and honey. Makes eight tartlets.
- 250 g halal ricotta
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 8 piece halal-certified oat biscuits
- 2 item ripe figs
- 2 tbsp honey, estimated
- Heat the oven to 200°C. Stir the sugar into the ricotta. Warm the biscuits on a tray in the oven for about 2 minutes until they soften.
- While they are still warm, press the back of a teaspoon into each one to make a small hollow. Leave them to cool and firm up.
- Fill each hollow with sweetened ricotta, top with a quarter of fig and drizzle with honey.
